Home & Decor
Most of us live in condos and compact homes, where every piece has to earn its place. Our home guides start from a look worth living in, then build a short list of well-made pieces in honest materials that work together.

What we look for in home and decor
Pieces that work together
We start from the look or the problem, list the pieces that create it, and only then search for products, so a guide reads like a plan, not a pile.
Good materials, no plastic
Glass, wood, stone, ceramic, cotton and native fibres like rattan, abaca, buri and capiz. If it looks or feels like cheap plastic, it does not make the list.
Sellers with a track record
Named brands, local makers and established stores with steady recent buyers, at prices that make sense for the item.
